Major Update on any feature during the "Road To Steam"
Hello Survivors!
Let me quickly tell you what has happened.
In the current update, the game has made a huge leap forward.
Finally, numerous bugs have been fixed and addressed, the entire shop system has been reworked, and the game’s balance has been adjusted again. I’m sure it won’t be perfect yet, but at least we’re moving towards the finish line!
Furthermore, the development of a demo version for Steam has been significantly advanced and is about to be released.
The corresponding “demo version of the demo version for Steam” is now available for you on Itch.io.
Of course, this version you can download now is NOT the version that will later be found on Steam.
BUT, it is extremely close.
So, what fundamental changes have happened? Well:
- A start menu has been added to the game where you can select your character
- A new Main Menu has find it`s way into the game (Absolutely not the finished version)
- In the start menu, you could now choose which song you want to listen to, during a game session (However, for some reason, it doesn’t save your selection and always plays the same song) [So it doesn’t quite work yet]
- Many new speeches have been added to the game. (Both in the menu and in the game itself)
- The combat system has been adjusted in detail again, because some of the mobs were out of line
- The prices for items have been adjusted again
- The “Backshot” can now drop in the store (with a drop chance of 12%). It was added as a (more or less useful) upgrade
- A character selection has been added, allowing you to play with multiple characters (currently: 2 player characters)
- There are now 2 different enemies in the game (Slime and Epic Slime)
- DYING is still not possible in the game. I am still testing many things. Therefore, “dying” is currently very low on my agenda
Here is an overview of the different drop chances:
- BackShot (Unique Item) - 12%
- Bounce Bullet (Unique Item) - 12%
- Critchance Legendary - 4%
- Critchance Epic - 15%
- Critchance Normal - 30%
- Damage Boost Legendary - 2%
- Damage Boost Epic - 10%
- Damage Boost Normal - 30%
- Extra Bullet - 25%
- Health Boost Legendary - 6%
- Health Boost Epic - 10%
- Health Boost Normal - 30%
- Pierce (Penetration) - 28%
- SelfHeal Legendary - 2%
- SelfHeal Epic - 6%
- SelfHeal Normal - 15%
- WalkSpeed Legendary - 2%
- WalkSpeed Epic - 10%
- WalkSpeed Normal - 29%
- Stomp Damage Normal - 18%
The new player character “The Punk” generally reduces your drop chance by 15% (based on the previous drop chances). However, he is 7.5% faster in running and has a 7.5% increased base damage on all values.
